Bread is a large part of our diet. Whether it is toast for breakfast or a sandwich for lunch, most of us eat at least a few slices every day so why not make it a most pleasurable experience.

Jinny's Bakery, located in Leitrim, the North West of Ireland, prepare and bake all the bread early in the morning to ensure it's fresh when it's delivered to the shops. Our bread is yeast free and sugar free making it a healthy choice for you and your family.

Along with the bread we make a range of cakes including scones, carrot cakes and Christmas puddings.

Sinead McGuire and Pascal Gillard bring backgrounds in catering and hospitality and a master’s degree in food science, respectively, to their boutique bakery, and that mix of energies is already paying off with a bakery brand that already boasts a signature style with its breads, scones, cakes and a particularly fine carrot cake.



Pascal joined the business Sinead had started after several years as an inspector with IOFGA, and this energetic couple really relish their work. For the present time the breads are available in stores in Leitrim, Sligo, Cavan, Longford and Roscommon, but one senses that it is only very early days for an ambitious and well-executed venture. Do note that Pascal and Sinead also have self-catering cottages – McGuire’s Cottages, for rental, overlooking Acres Lake just outside Drumshanbo.
